What's this type of plait called and how do i do it?

Yeah, I read it the other day in a newspaper magazine's article. Sad how they didn't really explain how to do it. I wish they did. It looks amazing .. *.* .. Look up on the internet .. You'll surely find it. And well, if its not on Google its nowhere!
