What should I do with my hair?

I have layered dark brown hair that is reaches just below my shoulders, I also have full fringe. However, i'm getting my hair cut soon and I want a change but I don't know what would suit me? Can anyone suggest anything? Or can anyone suggest any new hairstyles that I can try out, eg. plaits, pony tail, that sort of thing? Help please :S
