How do I save Flash games onto a thumbdrive?

I think i got the .swf file saved, but when i attempt to open it with internet explorer, nothing shows up but a box with a little picture in the corner. If someone could walk me through the process of saving a flash game onto a thumb drive, i'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
